Traveling to Mississippi, Part II
On Sunday, Love, My mom, and I attended a shower in my honor at St. John's Methodist Church in Greenwood, MS. This is the church that Will's parents currently attend and the church that Will grew up in. There were so many nice people...and the food was so good. I have to say...it sure is hard to lose weight when so many people are fixing such delicious food!! This shower was a real delight because not only did I get to hear so many old stories about Will (these will be saved for later), but I also got to meet two of Will's aunts, a cousin, and a second cousin (on his Dad's side)! Below are some pictures from the shower:

Will's Family: Ashley, Aunt Sister, Me, Aunt Patty, Angel, and Love

Me opening gifts - I believe this was a set of the hand blown glass tumblers...they're so cool!!
This is my place setting...see the glass tumbler and wine glass...aren't they cool :)
When we got home, I unpacked everything to make sure that it didn't break...then I realized I didn't have pictures of the gifts...
This is an upclose picture

A sideways one
This is the cross that Love gave us...it's made of copper!
I had to include the Mississippi State Tumblers...and Will said he wasn't going to get anything :)
A member of St. John's made most of these...it's handmade pottery
Here is some more...the mocha platter in the middle is actually from Viking Cooking Store
Thank you again to all of the gracious women of St. John's Methodist Church we can't wait to use all of the wonderful gifts we received...we're just going to have to throw a party here in Trussville :) And to Jack's family...thank you so much for making the drive over! It was so wonderful to meet you all!!! I can't wait to be a Matthews :)

Traveling to Mississippi, Part I
Will and I went to Sunflower, Mississippi with both sets of parents. It was A LOT of fun!!! My family was able to meet so many members of Love's family. They're all a hoot and we had so much fun...and a really great meal! The party was held at Lisa and Robert's house...it was amazing! The kitchen was to die for and the backyard was so beautiful!!! I could only hope that one day my house could look 1/2 as great as they're does. Oh...and I almost forgot dessert...Marie did this and it was WONDERFUL!!! Below are some pictures we took to remember the event...

A pretty good picture of us...and it's not in our usual pose!!
Buck and Jack "pose" for the picture...there was no reaction when I said smile (Buck really witty...we'll get a long great)
Thanks again to everyone in Will's family for being so gracious. My parents and I really enjoyed coming over and meeting everyone! Now I just need a photo directory for practice before my test :) hehehehe

Pictures of the Shower
My Bridesmaids threw me a GREAT shower on Saturday. The theme was based around the kitchen and cooking (which is great because I LOVE COOKING!!) They included recipe cards in all of the invitations and asked people to bring their favorite one to share with me. I received some yummy recipes that I can't wait to try...with all of my friends of course :)
My wonderful Bridesmaids: Draper, Misty, Rachel, and Jennifer (Not pictured: Kim - we missed her)
They used hydrangeas which are my favorite flowers. Also, the sign in/guest book was a cookbook...how CUTE!
Here we are, all modeling our new aprons. Will picked mine out a couple of nights before the shower. Misty even took one home to Autumn.
Here is a picture of me modeling the apron that Will picked out...it has a turtle on the pocket :) Inside the pockets of each apron is a recipe for Will's Favorite Strawberry Cake...I guess 'll have to fix that soon!
This is the corsage that my bridesmaids picked out for me...I thought this was a good time to show off my ring again :)
Here's a picture of me with my mom
Amanda is to my left...she and I became friends after meeting through Will's fraternity brother Chip...they've been married for 2 years now.
Draper and Rachel look on with excitement :) Rachel is just studying for her bridal showers :)
My sorority sister Brenda brought Pyrex dishes and a wonderful potato salad recipe...she must've known that's one of Will's favorites.
Here I am opening some Tupperware from Misty...listen up ladies because as soon as wedding stuff has calmed down I am so throwing a Tupperware party! Misty brought the hourglass salt and pepper shakers...my grandmother had a set of these...it brings back wonderful memories!
Here's Rachel's Margarita glasses...YUMMY...can't wait to try these out!!!!
Thank you to all of my wonderful friends that came and put so much time and effort into this shower. It really meant A LOT! I hate that I don't have pictures of every gift, but I appreciate them all and can't wait to use them to cook the wonderful recipes for Will .

Showering...
Tomorrow is the first shower/tea that we're having. This one has been put together by all of my wonderful bridesmaids. Draper, Jennifer, Kim, Misty, and Rachel have been working so hard for the past couple of months to make sure this would be a wonderful event. If I can get my scanner to work, I'll add my invitation. They're so cute. The shower is kitchen themed! They know me so well!! This is the one place that Will and I spend equal time because we both enjoy cooking (and eating) :) Look for pictures soon...I'm sure there will be tons! --Thanks in advance ladies, y'all are some of the best friends that a girl could have!

88 DAYS!!!
So here we are...officially three months out...well 88 days. I can't believe it. There's still so much to do!!! Final payments have to be paid, music has to be picked, invitations ordered, dj booked...there just are not enough minutes in the day...or enough memory left in my brain. It's all worth it though! The wedding will be wonderful and the marriage even better. :)

And the days go by...
We're almost there...on Friday we'll be 3 months away from the wedding! We're still looking for invitations, but I think I've found a winner...something that's made especially for our wedding.
My mom and I will meet with our caterer/florist next Monday to set everything in stone when it comes to flowers and food. Will and I are getting more and more excited about the upcoming wedding.
And a HUGE thank you to all of our friends and family that have visited our blog and left comments on it and our wedding website. We can't wait to see everyone at the wedding!!!
